Why do people insist on lying? It's never just a one-time deal either. Once someone lies, it doesn't stop. It's like a snowball rolling down an endless hill. It builds up until it's out of control.
Once someone lies or cheats, they can no longer be trusted. Even the slightest bit of trust takes a very long time to earn back.
I tend to trust people too easily. I didn't used to be like this. Now, it's as if I pour my heart out to anyone that shows the least bit of consideration. That's all going to change. I'm done being used and trampled on. The only ones to be trusted are the ones that work for it. Same for others. I want to work for their trust so that when they do confide in me, it means something. It means that they found the place inside of me that they can trust and lean on.
"All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better."
